The largest credit union in Ohio, Wright-Patt Credit Union was seeking to increase their market share in mortgage lending. Catalyst developed a complete integrated campaign including both traditional media as well as dedicated mortgage microsite, all in keeping with the WPCU brand position and image. Since the launch of this campaign, WPCU has seen a huge increase in online applications.
This microsite was the centerpiece of the largest Tyson deli promotion to date. It included an online contest, instant win prizes, and a custom game. The site also featured a video blog posted weekly by a celebrity spokesperson. Catalyst drove traffic to the site via Facebook advertising, Google ad words, email blasts to previous Tyson sweepstakes registrants, and in-store POS. More than 250,000 consumers entered to win, and 50,000 fan votes were received in the contest.
Catalyst designed this site to reflect the upscale brand image of Maple Leaf Farms and its duck products. It is really four sites in one, as the landing page acts as a gateway to consumer, foodservice, retail, and corporate sites. The consumer site features e-commerce, as well as an extensive, searchable recipe database. Foodservice and retail sites provide information on available duck products and its application and profitability for their businesses. An innovative feature of the site is the "celebrity chef" spokesperson, Maple Leaf Farms' corporate chef, who greets visitors to the site with a variety of seasonal messages.
Catalyst worked with DreamWorks Animation and Tyson to develop this promotion timed for the release of the film Monsters vs. Aliens on DVD. The promotion included in-store point of sale materials, with money saving coupons. The online component included this microsite, where visitors registered to win a grand prize sweepstakes. Registered users could log in daily for a chance at instant prizes.
Olinger Distributing, one of Indiana’s largest distributors of wine, spirits, and energy drinks, came to Catalyst to uncover their brand distinction. Catalyst helped Olinger identify their unique selling propositions, and their brand distinction, communicated in their new tagline, “Setting the Bar.” This site was developed to reflect their brand distinction, and includes many functional features such as a unique search feature. Point of sale materials appearing in over 5,000 retail locations nationwide directed consumers to this web site to enter to win instantly, and register to win a great grand prize. Over 325,000 consumers visited the site, and 28,000 registered to win. Tyson experienced incremental increases in volume of the featured product of up to 1580% over the previous year.

As part of a fully integrated product launch campaign, Catalyst developed this web site that focuses on the Rieke Airless HVDS product. The Airless dispenses up to 98.41% of the contents of the container, much more than the nearest competitive product. The introductory flash element is comprised of images used on coordinating direct mail pieces that invited the target audience to visit the site to learn more. The site also includes a graphic animation of the airless dispenser, allowing a close up, exploded view that emphasizes the key features of the product. The robust site includes product information, recipes, meal ideas, and more. Tyson also provides consumers with the opportunity to receive money-saving coupons through the site, as well as enter contests or sweepstakes.
